Essential Job Functions:
Performing intakes for incoming clients Performing orientation of new clients Monitoring of all clients for behavioral/safety issues Performing headcounts at intervals determined by the clinical team Communication of behavioral/safety issues to clinical staff Facilitation of groups within the program technician's scope of practice Maintaining appropriate documentation (headcounts, groups, etc.) Maintaining an attitude of helpfulness, professionalism, and caring with clients Assisting with crisis intervention Monitoring of client self-administration of medication Assisting with and participating in safety drills Communicating with a supervisor or clinical staff in the event of a crisis or emergency Administration of urine analysis/breathalyzer Attending all Program Technician meetings and trainings Ensuring that all clients are following house rules Maintaining the cleanliness of the house. (This may include, but is not limited to: moping, sweeping, dusting, folding of laundry, making of beds, etc.) Assist with transportation of clients in company vehicles Carry out any additional duties assigned by the lead program technician, program director, clinical director, and director of compliance.
Qualifications:
Must have HS diploma or equivalent education a minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities (experience must be in the direct provision of services to clients) Must be comfortable working with both male and female populations
Pay:
$23.00 per hour
