SUMMARY OF MAJOR FUNCTIONS
Under general supervision, provides services to residential clients and supports daily program operations. Works directly with clients, families, social workers, and probation officers to ensure participation in programming, appointments, court appearances, and medication compliance.
DUTIES:
Conduct psychosocial assessments and complete all required documentation in a timely manner. Facilitate intake, treatment planning, and individual/group sessions. Provide psychoeducational groups and monitor client progress and behavior. Collaborate with staff and external partners on treatment and discharge planning, including housing and employment. Maintain presence on the unit, monitor facility, and enforce program guidelines. Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and trainings. Complete reports, maintain records, and follow supervision guidance. Ensure compliance with program policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS
Maintain a caseload of 3+ clients. Engage clients daily in programming and activities. Complete documentation within required timeframes (e.g., notes within 24 hours, treatment plans within 10 days). Meet charting, QA, and survey standards. Complete required trainings and maintain performance goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED. Registered with a state-approved credentialing organization (RADT or equivalent).
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Understanding of substance use treatment, group therapy, behavioral health services, and relevant regulations. Strong communication, organization, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage workload, and work independently.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Background clearance, drug screening, TB test. Insurable driver with valid California license.
Pay:
$22.00 per hour
