In this role, you will responsible for the complete care and well-being of clients in a 6 - bed co - ed inpatient addiction facility (DTX / RTC) while they are receiving services at the facility. BHT will maintain open line of communication with staff, clinicians, and clients, to ensure standard of care has been met. Duties Complete intake during evening and weekend hours Provides an ongoing safe environment for staff and clients Provides a written daily report on rounds and daily census for Residential Level of Care clientele Transports clients to and from appointments, meetings, facilities, outings, and other pre - authorized destinations when applicable (Utilizes company transportation) Instructs and confirms the facility's rules and regulations to new admissions (Orientates clients) Familiar with community resources Seeks corrective criticism and has the ability to evaluate suggestions objectively Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff Attends administrative meetings and required monthly staff trainings Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in work environment Assist with upkeep of facility, including the completion of shift tasks, daily logs, and daily cleaning Completes and forwards any Incident Reports and any other safety/risk issues immediately to Program Director and / or Clinical Director. Required Certification / Experience Must possess a valid and unrestricted Driver's License in the state of California Must possess an active RADT - i, SUDRC, or equivalent certification in the addiction related career field Must be able to pass a UA drug screening Join our team as a Behavior Technician where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve!
