The BHT is an integral part of our team who assists in coordinating the day to day needs of the facility and residents by monitoring residents, resident schedules, and activities, and assisting staff members to ensure that the residence operates as a well-oiled machine. We are currently hiring for the following shift: Full Time 2nd
Shift:
4pm-12am
Job Duties:
Supervise residents with emphasis on resident safety and well-being. Assists in assuring daily program activities: transports residents, coordinates group activities, admissions and discharges, and supervises all recreational activities. Interact appropriately with residents, showing them respect while maintaining professional boundaries. Communicates effectively with other staff members, demonstrating the ability to work as a team member and contribute positively to the morale of staff and to promote quality resident care. Safely transports residents in company vehicles and reports all motor vehicle incidents to supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
GED or High School Diploma required, MUST be verifiable. At least 1 year of experience in the field of chemical dependency/substance abuse and/or psychiatric setting Valid Driver's License and clean driving record, insurable on company auto policy required. Safety sensitive position, waivers not accepted. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred. MUST be able to pass an AHCA Level II Background screening.

Resident Confidentiality Drug-Free Workplace The ideal BHT candidate: The ideal candidate is hard-working, demonstrates ability to function as a team player, flexible with schedule availability, dedicated to providing exceptional quality care to our residents, empathetic to our resident's recovery journey, detail orientated especially in monitoring and documenting resident behaviors in support of resident safety and has the ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification.
