Job Description

Behavioral Health Technician (Milieu) | Fayetteville, GA About Greater Georgia Behavioral Health Greater Georgia Behavioral Health is launching Groundwork, a new Adolescent Afterschool Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) based in Fayetteville, GA. The program will provide adolescents ages 12 to 17 with a structured, trauma-informed treatment environment. The Opportunity Greater Georgia Behavioral Health is looking for a Behavioral Health Technician to support the milieu at Groundwork. This part-time, in-person role suits someone steady, attentive, and comfortable holding structure with adolescents during afterschool programming. Two positions are open, with a target start date of ASAP ahead of program launch. What You'll Do Provide adolescent milieu supervision throughout the program day Manage client check-in and check-out, including authorized-guardian verification at dismissal Maintain line-of-sight supervision during transitions and breaks Support safety monitoring and de-escalation, with same-day escalation of concerns to clinical staff Complete attendance and incident documentation Communicate professionally with guardians on non-clinical matters Requirements What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field preferred CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire Background clearance for work with minors Crisis de-escalation training (such as CPI) preferred Minimum 1 year working with adolescents in behavioral health, education, residential, or youth program settings Preferred Master's-level or license-eligible candidates ideal where available Experience in IOP, PHP, residential, or school-based behavioral health settings CPI or equivalent certification Familiarity with behavioral health EMR workflows
Benefits Compensation and Schedule Hourly:
$20 - $22
Schedule:
