We are a small, child-focused behavioral health agency based in Auburn, Maine, dedicated to supporting children and families through compassionate, individualized care. At New Moon, we pride ourselves on being a supportive, collaborative, and close-knit team where every staff member is valued. We are currently seeking a part-time team member available Monday through Friday who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and being part of a mission-driven organization. Duties:
As a Behavioral Health Professional, you will be responsible for providing in-home and community services to individuals dealing with various challenges and diagnoses (autism, adhd, down syndrome, etc).
Your duties will include:
  • Implementing activities to work on goals on the client(s)' individualized treatment plan.
  • Provide guidance and redirection to client(s) when necessary.
  • Documenting client(s) progress on weekly paperwork.
  • Collaborating with the Program Manager.
  • Travel to clients' homes to provide one-on-one behavioral health support in the comfort of their own environment.
  • Attend weekly supervision meetings with your Program Manager at our Auburn, ME office.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Possess a High School Diploma
  • Be willing to complete module 1 of the Behavioral Health Professional certification program within 1 month of hire. The remainder of the certification will need to be completed within 1 year from date of hire.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and treatment team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
  • Be able to pass a background check both criminal and driving.
  • Demonstrate reliability and accountability while supporting the health, well-being, and success of the children and families we serve.

Pay:
$15.00
