Job Description

Currently we are looking to hire on MONDAYS and
WEDNESDAYS
in our Waterford and Troy clinics. Start your journey in healthcare by working alongside our upper extremity rehabilitation experts. You will be a part of a team that makes a lasting impact to a patient's life and gain hands on experience in a clinical environment, bringing your career to the next level! Learn from the best team in town! The Rehabilitation Technician's responsibilities will include working with Clinical Staff in assisting patients with their exercise program, performing ultrasounds, maintaining overall cleanliness of the clinic, occasionally answering phones, and ensuring clinic equipment is in working order. The Rehabilitation Technician will work in a team environment under the supervision of Occupational Therapists. The position requires a friendly and positive personality, strong interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and ability to work in a team. Experience in a similar environment preferred. Ideal job for OT, PT students, or Physician Assistant prospective students who need direct patient care hours. Most of our technicians are in school and we strive to accommodate changes in their schedule each semester.
Ideal candidate will:
Have a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize patient care. Be dependable, showing up to work as scheduled, and communicating effectively with management for any planned or unplanned absences. Ability to work on their feet for extended periods of time.
Qualifications:
Excellent listening and verbal communication skills required. Ideal candidate will be pursuing occupational therapy or other health care degree. Professional appearance required.
