Job Description

DAY/EVENING SHIFT NEEDED
Position Overview:
As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting clients throughout their treatment journey. You will work closely with clinical and medical staff to ensure a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for individuals in recovery. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role ideal for individuals passionate about making a real impact in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and support clients in residential and/or PHP/IOP levels of care Conduct regular client check-ins and ensure adherence to program schedules Assist with client admissions, discharges, and daily activities Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients in recovery Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions Ensure safety of all clients through proper supervision and reporting Assist in crisis situations and follow appropriate escalation protocols Transport clients to appointments or meetings when needed (if applicable) Collaborate with clinical team to support individualized treatment plans
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field preferred Prior experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or mental health settings strongly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Passion for helping individuals struggling with addiction and mental health disorders Valid driver's license with clean driving record (preferred)
Schedule:
Flexible scheduling available Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
