Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic behavioral health team as a Behavioral Health Technician and become a vital part of transforming lives through compassionate, expert care. In this energetic role, you'll provide direct support to individuals with diverse mental health and behavioral needs, including those with neurodevelopmental disorders, substance use challenges, and trauma histories such as PTSD. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a safe, nurturing environment where clients can thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in patient care, behavior management, crisis intervention, and medical documentation while making a meaningful difference every day. Duties Transportation of clients to and from their individual sober livings and homes. Support clients with daily activities, including intake procedures, social skills development, and behavior management strategies tailored to their needs. Maintaining a clean work environment. Utilize crisis management and de-escalation techniques to ensure safety during behavioral or emotional episodes. Maintain a safe environment by applying first aid and CPR when necessary, adhering to all safety protocols. Experience Prior experience working in behavioral health settings is highly preferred. Clean driving record, being extra cautious when completing transportation of clients. Strong skills in crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and client communication are essential for success in this role. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications related to behavior analysis or mental health support are a plus. (Trainings can be provided upon hire). Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
