TB Test/Physical Position Summary:
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides specialized behavioral services directed by a detailed treatment plan and under the direction of a LBS/BCBA, who is responsible for the treatment plan.
Summary of Essential Position Functions:
Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to client Assist parent/caregiver and/or teacher with implementation of behavior plan Monitor client's behaviors emphasized in the treatment plan; intervene and redirect challenging behaviors Collaborate with team members and must work in context of transferring skills to others Attend weekly supervision Complete all paperwork within policy time frames Training will be provided (40-hour training covering the RBT Task List will be provided online)
Qualifications:
This position requires individuals with great interpersonal and communication skills, problem- solving skills, organizational skills, and team oriented. High School Diploma or GED Registered Behavioral Technician Certification(40 hour training)
Education:
Have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma and have completed a 40- hour training covering the RBT Task List as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BCaBA.
