In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, hands-on support to individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, PTSD, and addiction issues. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities and provide emotional support to promote well-being and independence Monitor and document behavioral responses, ensuring accurate medical records and data collection in compliance with HIPAA regulations Implement behavior management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate situations safely Administer medication following medical terminology guidelines and document all medication administration accurately Support clients during intake assessments and ongoing treatment plans, including vital signs checks and medical documentation Collaborate with social workers, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans Requirements Prior experience working with adults with mental health or substance use diagnosis Knowledge of crisis management, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining a calm demeanor Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance Excellent communication skills for patient care, social work collaboration, and data collection purposes Certification or training in addiction counseling or mental health is a plus but not required Join us in providing impactful behavioral health services that empower individuals to lead healthier lives.
