Job Description

Behavioral Health Technician We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our healthcare team at Wellbrook Recovery. The Behavioral Health Technician will provide one-on-one support to our patients with mental health and substance abuse issues, working under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional to implement treatment plans and provide ongoing care and support for patients.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to patients to help them manage their mental health or substance abuse issues Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients Provide crisis intervention as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care Participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest treatment approaches and techniques
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment
