3-Month Initial Assignment with Extension Opportunities Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) for a locum tenens opportunity providing comprehensive women's health and obstetric care. This position offers a combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities , a consistent schedule, and the opportunity for long-term extensions. Candidates with an active, unrestricted license from any U.S. state may be considered. Schedule & Assignment Full-time coverage Initial 3-month contract Multiple extension opportunities available Potential for long-term continuity Hospital-based OB/GYN and outpatient women's health On-call and delivery coverage required Responsibilities Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care Manage labor and delivery patients Perform well-woman examinations and gynecologic services Provide comprehensive women's health services Participate in deliveries and on-call coverage Assist with cesarean sections Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Deliver professional, patient-centered care across inpatient and outpatient settings Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Midwifery program Current Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification Active, unrestricted APRN/CNM and RN license in any U.S. state Active DEA registration with Schedules II-V Current BLS/CPR certification Current Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) certification Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification First-assist surgical training or relevant experience Recent clinical experience with no significant gaps in practice Ability to successfully complete credentialing and background requirements Why Consider This Opportunity?
