Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a confident, dedicated, and highly skilled Certified Midwife willing to relocate to Madison County, MS to provide comprehensive care to our low risk female clients, who reside within 30 - 45 minutes of the clinic. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive maternity and women's health care and support clients through preconception, pregnancy, childbirth in their homes, postpartum, and interconception. Your expertise will ensure safe, compassionate, and personalized care for women at all stages of reproductive health. As a Certified Midwife, you will collaborate closely with diverse professionals including doulas and physical therapists to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and promote maternal well-being. Relocation expenses and professional liability insurance will be covered. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, well woman visits, obstetric sonography, and medical history reviews to develop individualized wellness plans within the clinic. Perform outpatient and inpatient care duties. Support women's reproductive health through family planning counseling, contraception management, and women's health education. Document all patient interactions accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interprofessional teams to develop comprehensive care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up strategies aligned with NCQA standards. Educate patients on childbirth options, breastfeeding support, and postpartum recovery strategies. Monitor patient vital signs continuously during labor using advanced patient monitoring tools; respond promptly to any deviations or emergencies. Maintain proficiency in medical terminology and clinical documentation standards to support appropriate patient recordkeeping. Experience Proven experience as a Midwife with a focus on women's health and reproductive patient care in out-of-hospital settings. Demonstrated expertise in labor & delivery Strong background in performing physical examinations, client communication, medical documentation, and patient assessment skills. Out-of-hospital birth experience is required; experience with home birth practices Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), CPR, and other relevant certifications required for safe practice. Experience with ultrasound (sonography), OB/GYN procedures including speculum exams, injection administration. Pay:
$90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
