A Truly Collaborative Team You'll work alongside an experienced team of physicians and Certified Nurse Midwives in a culture built on: Mutual respect and teamwork Collaborative clinical decision-making Seamless physician support when needed Continuity of care from the office through delivery Strong nursing and hospital support Leadership & Professional Growth As Saint Joseph Hospital continues to grow, you'll have opportunities to: Participate in quality improvement initiatives Mentor future clinicians and students Serve on hospital committees Help shape and grow our Women's Health program Contribute to the future of obstetrical care within our organization Position Responsibilities As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will: Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care Manage labor and attend vaginal deliveries Perform routine newborn assessments Develop individualized care plans that reflect each patient's preferences and goals Educate patients and families throughout pregnancy and beyond Promote informed, shared decision-making Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, lactation consultants, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive, patient-centered care Qualifications Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Graduate of an accredited Nurse Midwifery program Current or eligible New Hampshire APRN licensure Current AMCB certification DEA certification (or ability to obtain) Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based practice Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Passion for collaborative, family-centered maternity care Experienced CNMs and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
