Our proprietary model, VOICSS®, empowers neurodivergent individuals to express themselves and engage with others.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for supervising a team of Music Therapists over a geographic area, providing support and individualized supervision for other therapists. This role will also facilitate a reduced caseload of sessions in their region.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Day-to-day management a team of Music Therapists, including bi-weekly one-on-one clinical supervision with direct reports Host monthly regional meetings to foster a collaborative environment Meet weekly with Clinical Manager to provide updates and discuss needs of the team Evaluate VOICSS® Music Therapy program by observing sessions of each Music Therapist in the region each semester Act as the first point of contact for incident reports Attend supervisor meetings with clinical leadership; bring ideas or discussion points as needed Provide general support for the Music Therapy team Attend training and peer mentor meetings; serve as a peer mentor when able Assist with orientation and onboarding of newly hired Music Therapy staff Create and maintain a structure for providing feedback and track progress of therapists as needed Responsible for reporting and documenting responses to Level II and III incidents in the Incident Response Improvement System (IRIS) Attend regularly scheduled coaching/training sessions with Human Resources and outside consultant(s) Regularly attend training sessions on developing leadership skills, supervision skills, and other pertinent job trainings Continue all duties/responsibilities as outlined in the Voices Together Music Therapist job description when leading sessions/managing caseload Provide feedback to Hiring Committee on therapists being considered for hire Performs other related duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Music Therapy Must be a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) Must have VOICSS® (VMT) Certification 3-5 years of related experience 2+ years of experience at Voices Together Must have completed "Supervising the Music Therapy Intern" course through AMTA-C Excellent written, oral, and organizational skills Demonstrated proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office Suite
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Previous experience as a clinical supervisor or other management-level role in the clinical setting Ability to lead, work independently, and work in a team environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds at times
Pay:
$63,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
