Part-time music therapist 15-25 hrs/wk (with potential to grow) Individual and group music therapy, music lessons, and early childhood groups Flexible scheduling MT-BC and LPMT required Experience with variety of ages and populations preferred Position Overview We are seeking a collaborative Music Therapist who thrives in a flexible, ever-evolving clinical environment and possesses strong communication skills. The ideal candidate is someone who naturally "goes with the flow" and adapts easily to changing client needs, shifting schedules, and new therapeutic opportunities as our practice grows. You should be highly open to new experiences—whether that means jumping into a brand-new early childhood group, working with a variety of ages and populations, or participating in marketing events. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group music therapy sessions, adaptive music lessons, and early childhood music groups, both on and offsite. Create and adapt clinical music interventions to meet a wide variety of client ages, needs, and settings. Maintain timely clinical documentation (including assessments, clinical treatment plans, weekly session notes, and progress reports) and communicate proactively regarding scheduling and caseload logistics.
Required Qualifications MT-BC:
Must hold active board certification through the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT).
Ohio Licensure:
Active LPMT (Licensed Professional Music Therapist) credential through the Ohio CSWMFT Board.
Experience:
Prior experience working with a variety of ages and clinical populations is highly preferred.
