Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract A skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist is needed for a contract opportunity, supporting a busy imaging department and performing a full range of general nuclear medicine procedures (excluding PET/CT). This position operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm, with no on-call requirements and weekends off, providing excellent work-life balance.
Qualifications:
Active certification and registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT (N) or NMTCB) Proven experience in general nuclear medicine imaging; ability to independently operate and maintain imaging equipment Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and patient care standards Excellent communication and technical skills Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic, collaborative clinical environment
Responsibilities:
Perform and document a range of nuclear medicine procedures with accuracy and attention to patient safety Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders and safety guidelines Monitor and assess patient well-being before, during, and after imaging procedures Ensure all records, image quality, and processes comply with departmental standards and regulatory requirements Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed to ensure smooth workflow Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and technologists to support patient diagnosis and care This contract role offers a consistent weekday schedule, with no weekend or on-call duties, allowing for balance and stability in your workweek.
