Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Take your expertise in Nuclear Medicine to the next level in a specialized imaging role focused on general nuclear medicine technology. This contract opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with no on-call or weekend responsibilities, supporting a collaborative healthcare environment.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM No call and no weekend shifts
Qualifications:
Current registry as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARDMS, NMTCB, or equivalent) Valid state licensure (if required) in Nuclear Medicine Technology Experience with general nuclear medicine procedures Knowledge of safety protocols and quality control standards within a healthcare imaging setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills, supporting both patient care and collaboration with other clinical professionals Ability to adapt to new workflows and utilize medical imaging equipment effectively CPR/BLS certification preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform a range of general nuclear medicine imaging procedures (no PET/CT required) Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals accurately, ensuring patient safety Assess patient needs and explain procedures in a compassionate, clear manner Operate imaging equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain high-quality image standards Document patient procedures and maintain accurate medical records according to facility protocols Uphold rigorous cleanliness, infection control, and radiation safety standards in all work areas Collaborate with physicians and other care team members to facilitate timely and accurate diagnoses This position allows you to focus your skills in a supportive environment with predictable hours, making work-life balance more achievable.
