Job Description:

Prepares patients for procedures, assumes responsibility for patient needs during procedures. Performs all nuclear medicine procedures with accuracy and thoroughness in a timely manner, adhering to the protocols outlined in the department procedure manual upon the order of a licensed independent practitioner for diagnostic interpretation by a radiologist.

Education:

Completion of Nuclear Medicine Technology

Required Experience:
Medical Imaging
Nuclear Medicine
Preferred Certifications/Licensures:
BLS Basic Life Support
American Heart Association
Required CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
NMTCB
Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board and/or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
Required CTNM-Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine Certificate (California State License issue by RHB) or Online state license verification from California RHB stating
