Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Qualifications and Requirements:
Active certification by ARRT or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) Current BLS certification 1 or more years of nuclear medicine experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma setting Radiology license in Illinois (candidates with a pending license in progress will be considered) Proficient in conducting a variety of nuclear medicine procedures with attention to accuracy and patient safety Strong communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively in interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine imaging using radiopharmaceuticals according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely, monitoring for any adverse effects Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards Document procedures accurately in patient records and imaging systems Uphold strict adherence to radiation safety and patient privacy Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic results Guide and educate patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
