Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic environment as a skilled provider of nuclear medicine imaging services. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in technical procedures and compassionate patient care. The contract will last 13 weeks and is suited for individuals with a strong clinical background in nuclear medicine imaging.
Schedule:
5 shifts per week, 8 hours each (Monday through Friday) Day shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM No call and no weekend coverage required
Qualifications:
Current BLS certification Valid certification as ARRT(N) or CNMT NJ State License for Nuclear Medicine Prior experience performing general nuclear medicine studies, including bone scans, hepatobiliary scans, lung scans, and thyroid scans is highly preferred
Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures with precision and safety Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in accordance with standardized protocols Ensure proper operation and maintenance of nuclear medicine equipment Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret imaging results Adhere to all safety standards for patient and staff radiation exposure Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to procedures performed Provide clear communication and compassionate care to patients throughout their exams This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your nuclear medicine expertise in a professional and supportive clinical environment.
