Full-Time-Days (Weekdays 7:00am-4:30pm)

Miami Valley North General Summary/Responsibilities:

Independently performs Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of radiopharmaceuticals . Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Nuclear Medicine department including radiation protection practices. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of his/her duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities. Education Minimum Level of Education Required:

​ Diploma Program ​ Additional requirements: Type of degree : ​ Allied Health ​ Area of study or major : ​ Nuclear Medicine Technology ​ Preferred educational qualifications : ​ ​ Associate degree, graduate of an accredited program or currently enrolled in a multi-modality program with board certification in Nuclear Medicine ​ ​ Position specific testing requiremen t: ​ N/A ​ Licensure/Certification/Registration

• ​ ​ CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire
• ​ Nuclear Medicine registry required ​
• ODH licensure required
• ARRT RT (N) registry required and/or

NMTCB Experience Minimum Level of Experience Required:

​ No prior job-related work experience ​ Prior job title or occupational experience: ​ N/A ​ Prior specific functional responsibilities: ​ N/A ​ Preferred experience: ​ One year experience in specialized field of Nuclear Medicine ​ Other experience requirements: ​ N/A ​ Knowledge/Skills ​ ​

• ​ Knowledge in anatomy and physiology
• ​ Knowledge of Ohio Department of Health rules & regulations
• Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
