Job Description
This 13-week travel assignment places a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Sandusky, Ohio, delivering high-quality imaging services across multiple departments. The role supports patient care by performing diagnostic procedures, ensuring safety, and collaborating with the healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nuclear medicine imaging and diagnostic services across various departmental locations. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines during all procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance logs. Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver effective patient care and imaging results. Execute daily equipment checks and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal functionality of nuclear medicine devices.
Qualifications:
Completion of an approved nuclear medicine technology program. NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. At least 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Ability to work day shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Weekend call availability. Excellent communication skills. Ability to follow safety protocols. Flexibility to adapt to schedule variations.
