Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for an Imaging Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a strong background in nuclear medicine to support pediatric and general radiology services for a 13-week contract. This position offers structured weekday hours and the chance to work alongside a dedicated healthcare team, making a real impact in patient care.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Key Qualifications:
Current CMRT (Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist) through the Texas Medical Board Cert-CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) via NMTCB or N-ARRT (Nuclear Medicine, ARRT registered) Minimum of 3 years' experience in Radiology (any and all modalities considered) Proficient with intravenous procedures and quality control protocols Pediatric imaging experience is a plus, but not required Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform quality-controlled nuclear medicine procedures to support both pediatric and adult patient populations Conduct IV insertions and administer radiopharmaceuticals as required Maintain accurate, thorough documentation, and adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements Operate and calibrate imaging equipment, troubleshooting as necessary Support quality control and assurance measures to ensure optimal imaging performance Participate in interdisciplinary case discussions and continuous departmental improvement
