Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Advance your career in a highly specialized imaging role at a prominent healthcare facility. This contract position focuses on nuclear medicine, offering the chance to work alongside expert professionals in a pediatric setting. The assignment spans 13 weeks, providing valuable experience and professional growth.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Key Qualifications:
Active CMRT (Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist) by the Texas Medical Board Current CNMT (Nuclear Medical Technologist, NMTCB certified) or N-ARRT (Registered Technologist, Nuclear Medicine by ARRT) Minimum of 3 years' radiology experience encompassing any or all imaging modalities Experience placing IVs and performing quality control Pediatric imaging background preferred, but not required Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams All candidates with nuclear medicine certification are encouraged to apply
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures with a focus on pediatric patients Ensure the safe use and maintenance of imaging equipment, adhering to best practices in quality control Administer radiopharmaceuticals as needed, following precise documentation protocols Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after imaging studies Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal diagnostic outcomes Provide patient education and support, ensuring comfort and safety at all times Benefit from an assignment where you'll sharpen your clinical expertise and contribute to a collaborative care environment.
