A premier regional health system in Midland is seeking full-time CRNAs to join their collaborative surgical anesthesia team. Offering a predictable 40-hour work week, a diverse surgical case mix, optional call opportunities, and an expedited 30-day credentialing pathway, this position provides long-term assignment security. The Opportunity Step into an established, multi-specialty care team model working directly alongside supervising anesthesiologists, experienced CRNAs, and dedicated perioperative staff.
Clinical Scope:
Practice within a dynamic 70% inpatient and 30% outpatient coverage mix.
Case exposure includes:
General Surgery & Endoscopy OB/GYN (including epidurals and spinals)
Peripheral nerve block proficiency is preferred but not required.
The Schedule:
Full-time engagement offering 40 hours per week with flexible shift parameters adapted to department needs.
Call Commitments:
Call is entirely optional. Weeknight and weekend call opportunities are available for providers seeking supplemental earnings.
Technology:
Fully integrated Epic EMR system across all inpatient and outpatient surgical suites.
Assignment Duration:
6-month initial contract with strong potential for ongoing extension. Multiple openings available. Candidate Requirements To meet credentialing criteria, candidates must possess strong technical proficiency in lines and neuraxial anesthesia:
Degree & Certification:
Master's Degree in Nurse Anesthesia; active NBCRNA Certification .
Licensure:
Active, unencumbered Michigan State CRNA License required at time of submission.
Life Support:
Active AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Experience & Volume:
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience . Candidates must provide case logs verifying at least 75 cases performed within the past 12 months .
Procedural Competency:
Documented proficiency in performing spinals, epidurals, arterial lines, and central/venous catheter placements.
