Locums About the Facility This regional medical center maintains an organized operating room program with established perioperative workflows designed to support quality anesthesia care delivery across multiple surgical specialties. The facility operates under a physician medical direction model with 100% hands-on MD involvement within a structured on-site clinical environment. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought for a 14-week full-time assignment beginning in January to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department. About the Facility Location The area offers a range of attractions suited to diverse interests, including cave tours, scenic overlooks, and a walkable downtown district featuring museums, antique stores, and artisan shops. Outdoor and recreational options include river cruises, a waterpark, and an aquatic center. Dining and entertainment venues are available throughout the area, providing varied options for clinicians on assignment. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician medical direction model with 100% hands-on MD involvement during day shifts at an operating room facility, Monday through Friday, with daytime hours varying based on the OR schedule. Clinicians will be responsible for 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM coverage once per week, with weekday call (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) required once per week and weekend call required once per month. The surgical case mix includes general, spine, healthy pediatric ENT, GI, urology, GYN, and OB procedures, with approximately 600 deliveries per year; clinicians are responsible for all epidurals and OR cases when additional MD support is needed during call hours. Board certification is required for all clinicians considered for this role.
