This position is ideal for a provider who values quality patient care, clear communication, and working collaboratively with both clinical and administrative staff. The provider will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and helping ensure patients receive appropriate and timely care. We are looking for someone who is professional, personable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities Evaluate patients through medical history review, physical examination, and clinical assessment. Develop appropriate treatment plans based on each patient's needs. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions within the provider's scope of practice. Prescribe medications and treatments when medically appropriate. Order and review laboratory testing, diagnostic studies, and other clinical services as needed. Perform routine clinical procedures within the provider's training and scope of practice. Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and ongoing care. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation in the practice's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Ensure documentation supports medical necessity and appropriate CPT and ICD-10 coding. Follow HIPAA requirements, clinical protocols, and applicable state and federal regulations. Participate in telehealth visits when appropriate. Qualifications Active and unrestricted MD or NP license in the state of practice. Current board certification or applicable professional certification. DEA registration if prescribing controlled medications is required for the position. Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Experience with EHR/EMR systems. Understanding of medical documentation, ICD-10 diagnosis coding, and CPT coding. Strong communication skills and a professional bedside manner. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the clinical team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and quality of care. Preferred Experience Experience in outpatient medicine, primary care, internal medicine, urgent care, or a related clinical setting is preferred. Additional experience with specialty care, patient education, telehealth, or care coordination is a plus.
