Family Medicine Physician Assistant (considering Nurse Practitioners)Language Requirement:
- Bilingual in Spanish; must accommodate patients of all ages.
Coverage Duration:
- Immediate start through March 2027.
Practice Environment:
- Outpatient clinic.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00, with a requirement of one Saturday per month (half-day from 08:30 to 12:30), accompanied by a compensatory weekday off.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Primary care outpatient duties, including managing common cold/flu symptoms, family medicine consultations, and same-day appointment accommodations.
On-Call Duties:
- None required.
Patient Volume:
- Expected patient load of approximately 20-24 patients per day.
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR):
- Utilization of EPIC.
Credentialing Process:
- Anticipated timeframe is approximately 90 days from submission of application.
Certification Requirements:
- Must hold Board Certification.
Licensing:
- A California medical license is mandatory.
