We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will assisting with pre-procedure assessments and post-procedural follow-ups for patients undergoing vascular procedures. We are seeking a candidate that possesses the commitment to provide effective and quality care to our patients and to be a long term member of our growing team.
Responsibilities:
See patients in consultations and follow-ups, perform history and physical examination, order diagnostic tests, review results, and report to the physician as needed. Manage all aspects of patient care in the outpatient clinic, including addressing patient calls and collaborating with other intradisciplinary team members. Perform medical documentation accurately to maintain comprehensive patient records. Educate patients and families on health management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
Strong skills in medical documentation and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Education:
PA-C:
Graduate of an A.R.C. approved Physician Assistant Program. Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies and/or higher degree obtained from a program recognized by their practicing states Licensing Board.
NP:
Currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in CA. National certification as a Nurse Practitioner by nationally accredited organization recognized by state Board of Nursing.
