Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This Provider will assist in our Family & Women's Health Locations in both La Puente and Pico Rivera. We are looking for a full time provider who is able to travel between locations (site schedule to be determined). Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations, medical histories, and vital signs assessments to evaluate patient health status. Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines and collaborative practice agreements. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, and sterile processing when necessary. Manage acute and chronic conditions across diverse populations. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and medical records management. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal health outcomes. Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects to advance evidence-based practices. Requirements Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification from the appropriate governing body. Spanish speaking required. Experience working in diverse clinical environments, particularly in women's health, family medicine, community health and/or outpatient care. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems (EPIC) for documentation and patient management. Demonstrated skills in advanced procedures including suturing, phlebotomy, venipuncture, catheter care, and sterile technique. Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis coding systems such as ICD-10/ICD-9 and CPT coding for billing purposes. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on treatment plans and health coaching strategies. Pay:
$140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
