Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team at our Filmore and Santa Paula Family Practice locations. The ideal candidate should possess a strong clinical background and be committed to providing high-quality patient care across various settings. This role requires proficiency in managing acute and chronic conditions, performing diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with the physician and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of patients. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including but not limited to primary care, critical care, and medical-surgical cases. Perform procedures such as joint injections. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments. Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification in the relevant specialty area. Valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Strong clinical skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families. Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong leadership capabilities. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in nursing care.
