Lafayette, CO (with floating coverage to Lakewood, Aurora, and Lone Tree, CO)Position Type:
Locum Tenens / Contract (1.0 FTE)Assignment Duration:
3 Months (ASAP Start)Key Responsibilities Patient Care:
Diagnose and treat urgent care complaints across a diverse patient demographic, maintaining an estimated census of 3 patients per hour.Clinical Procedures:
Perform routine urgent care procedures including, but not limited to, suturing, incision and drainage (I&D), splinting, and toenail removal.On-Site Collaboration:
Work alongside a robust clinical support team consisting of LPNs, RNs, occasional MAs, and two on-site Emergency Medicine physicians per day.Documentation:
Utilize Kaiser Permanente's version of EPIC (Health Connect) for all electronic medical records and clinical charting.Schedule & Shift Expectations Work Week:
Varying weekly shifts from Monday through Friday.Shift Times:
8:00 AM- 6:30 PM | 9:30 AM
- 8:00 PM | 11:00 AM
- 10:00 PM.
Weekend Coverage:
Weekend shifts are required (8:00 AM- 6:30 PM or 8:30 AM
- 7:00 PM).
Call Schedule:
