No prior Gastroenterology experience is required—providers with a strong primary care or internal medicine background are encouraged to apply
Position Details Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Lunch:
1-hour daily
Patient Population:
Adults (18+)
Patient Volume:
Approximately 12-16 patients per day
Hospital Rounding:
Rotation every 6 weeks Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions. Perform new patient consultations, follow-up visits, and treatment planning. Order and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory studies. Educate patients on disease management, medications, and preventive care. Participate in a rotating inpatient rounding schedule every six weeks. Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and the clinical support team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
