Towaoc, CO 81334 Job Description DT-Trak is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide part-time child and adolescent psychiatric services at the Ute Mountain Ute Health Center (UMUHC) through the Indian Health Service (IHS) in Towaoc, Colorado. This is a long-term federal contract with exceptional work-life balance — just 1 to 2 days per month, no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call.
Pay:
$228/hour
Schedule:
1-2 clinic days per month | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | No weekends | No on-call
Contract:
Base year + 4 option years (up to 5.5 years of work)
Hours:
Approximately 192 hours per year maximum What You'll Do Conduct outpatient psychiatric assessments for child and adolescent patients Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications and treatment plans Document all patient contacts in the EHR (SOAP format) within 48 hours Consult with behavioral health and clinical staff on patient care Maintain compliance with IHS credentialing, HIPAA, and Privacy Act requirements Provide culturally sensitive care to Native American patients; interpreter support available Required Qualifications Current, unrestricted PMHNP license from any U.S. state or territory Minimum 3 years of specialized psychiatric NP experience, including at least 12 months in child/adolescent psychiatry Current BLS/CPR certification Ability to pass IHS background investigation and character review per
