Psychiatric Care Conduct psychiatric evaluations, mental health assessments, and comprehensive health histories Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications within established clinical guidelines Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medications Provide therapeutic support and counseling when appropriate Clinical Documentation & Compliance Complete timely and accurate documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Maintain progress notes in accordance with Medicaid, Medicare, and agency requirements Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and quality standards Utilize appropriate coding and billing practices Collaboration & Care Coordination Partner with psychiatrists, therapists, primary care providers, and community resources Coordinate care among internal and external treatment providers Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives Assist with prescription refills, prior authorizations, and continuity of care efforts Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: ✔ Compassionate ✔ Professional ✔ Collaborative ✔ Detail-Oriented ✔ Ethical ✔ Strong Communicator ✔ Patient-Focused ✔ Committed to Clinical Excellence Qualifications Required Current Registered Nurse (RN) License Nurse Practitioner Certification (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner preferred or as required) Current DEA Registration Current CPR Certification ACLS and PALS Certifications Minimum one year of experience in a community clinic or similar healthcare setting Experience providing psychiatric care and medication management Preferred Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across diverse populations Behavioral health outpatient experience Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Skills & Competencies Strong psychiatric assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Ability to manage a diverse patient population Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Schedule Per Diem Flexible Schedule Available Day and/or evening hours based on clinic needs Apply Today Some jobs offer flexibility.
