09/08/2026 Job Description Job Description Cesar Mental Health is a growing outpatient mental health practice seeking an experienced and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our clinical team. We are looking for a provider who is knowledgeable, dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality psychiatric care. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in outpatient psychiatry and be comfortable conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, and providing ongoing medication management. We are especially interested in candidates who already have individual provider credentialing with Optum and Humana . Required Qualifications Active Florida APRN license in good standing. Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or equivalent appropriate psychiatric certification. Appropriate prescriptive authority in the State of Florida. Previous psychiatric or mental health clinical experience. Strong psychiatric assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the clinical team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professionalism, reliability, and commitment to patient care. Individual insurance credentialing with Optum and Humana is strongly preferred. Cesar Mental Health uses a per-patient compensation structure for this position. Providers are compensated per completed patient visit . Initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up medication-management appointments have different reimbursement rates . The specific rates will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process and may depend on experience, qualifications, credentialing status, and the type of appointment. Compensation is based on completed and properly documented patient encounters in accordance with the practice's policies and payer requirements.
