Job Description
True Compassion Urgent Care is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team. We run modern, well-equipped urgent care clinics across the Treasure Coast and northern Palm Beach County, and we're looking for a provider ready to step in and do great work alongside a team that actually likes each other. Local candidates only.
The role:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute, non-life-threatening conditions
- Prescribe and manage medication within your scope
- Perform bedside procedures: wound care, suturing, I&D, splinting, foreign body removal
- Order and interpret point-of-care diagnostics, labs, and imaging
- Work alongside MAs, front-desk staff, and leadership
- Educate patients and families clearly and kindly
- Follow clinical protocols and complete documentation accurately and on time
Required:
- Active Florida NP license (FNP or ACNP). Not pending. Not in-process.
- MSN or DNP
- Board certified (AANP or ANCC)
- DEA registration, or eligible to obtain one within 90 days
- we pay for it
- Reliable transportation
- you'll have a homebase clinic and occasionally cover a sister location Nice to have:
- Prior RN or NP experience in ER, urgent care, ICU, peds, primary care, or care management
- Comfort performing basic procedures
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- DOT medical examiner certification
- we'll cover it if you don't have it The schedule:
- Full-time, seven shifts per two-week period
- Clinics operate 8am to 8pm, seven days a week
- you'll work a rotating schedule that averages a 40-hour workweek across the year
- Homebase at one of our clinics with occasional coverage at the other What we offer:
- From $100,000 per year, paid biweekly, with pay increasing in your second year
- Completion bonus available at the end of your second year
- Malpractice insurance covered, including tail coverage
- Your Florida license and renewal, prescriptive authority, controlled substance registration, DEA, DOT certification, and your CAQH, PECOS, and payer enrollment are covered by us
- Up to $1,000 per year toward CME, plus travel, lodging, and meals for one CME week
- Up to $500 per year toward professional memberships
- Transcription support, and front office staffed 8am to 8pm seven days a week, so your time goes to patients
