Oquawka/Monmouth/Stronghurst, Illinois Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Psychiatry to join our team in Monmouth, Illinois. This is an on-site position requiring a healthcare professional committed to providing high-quality psychiatric care to our patient community. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders. Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with state laws and clinical guidelines. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Provide patient education and counseling regarding mental health conditions and treatment options. Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation. Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advances in psychiatric care. Qualifications Current and valid PA or NP license with certification in Psychiatry. Experience in psychiatric or mental health settings preferred. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
