Job Description

OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physcian Assistant to join our Medical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a community health center setting. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant , you will work under the supervision of our Medical Director, providing a wide variety of patient care activities and ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients
Duties:
To improve the health of Whiteside County and surrounding areas by assessing families avoid communicable diseases and preventable causes of disease and illness through the administering of preventative and acute care services, immunizations, family planning, case management, and counseling; To act as an independent healthcare provider working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team; To be responsible for providing comprehensive care to both well and ill patients; To educate patients and/or their families in order to promote wellness, prevent health problems, prevent unintended pregnancies, maintain current health, and intervene in acute or chronic illness.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in the applicable discipline with specialized education as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Current Illinois licensure appropriate to the position. Current national certification appropriate to the role and scope of practice. Current CPR/BLS certification, as applicable. Clinical experience and scope of practice appropriate to the position and population served. Maintain all required licenses and certifications through timely renewal. Must be eligible for independent practice in Illinois without a required physician collaboration agreement. Five (5) years of clinical experience Fluency with documenting in an electronic health record Join our team and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while advancing your career in a supportive environment.
Pay:
$52.51 - $59.94 per hour
