09/03/2026 Job Description Job Description Growing Adult Endocrinology private practice is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join in this busy clinic's expansion. We are looking for a highly qualified, dedicated, and compassionate individual to provide comprehensive endocrine care to our patients. Though seeking highly trained individual, willing to train the right candidate. This individual must be compassionate, outgoing and able to work as a team with other physicians and nurse practitioners. In-depth knowledge of continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps and other medical technologies is preferred. Knowledgeable about diabetic mediations and thyroid and osteoporosis management are ideal. On-call and hospital rounding are required. Responsibilities are but not limited to: Conducting routine checkups to assess health condition and discover possible issues Give appropriate advice for healthy habits and preventative actions to promote overall health Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient's medical history Prescribe and interpret labs/imaging and blood glucose logs to obtain more information for underlying issues Prescribe medications or drugs and provide comprehensive instructions for administration Collaborate with other physicians, nurse practitioners and office staff Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients Requirements In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work Monday- Friday and one Saturday a month for outpatient appointments with possible one day off per week Current on
COVID-19
vaccinations, Flu Vaccine and CPR certification On-call and hospital rounding are required and shared between providers Current Illinois State Licensure DEA Certificate Benefits upon qualification Health Benefits PTO 401k CME Stipend Malpractice insurance
