Job description: Express Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our practice in Williamsburg. Work in collaboration with a dedicated team of professionals to diagnose and treat health conditions, as well as promote good health practices with accurate assessment and management of health problems. Our Williamsburg clinic employs professionals in a variety of roles and functions including: nurse practitioners, mental health providers, chiropractic and physiotherapy providers, lab technicians, phlebotomist, medical assistants, IT personnel and medical billers. Our Williamsburg clinic is a primary care medical office that puts the patient in the center of their health care. Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices Diagnose health conditions and illnesses Propose treatments for chronic and acute conditions Promote good health practices Educate patients on maintaining proper health Evaluate, make recommendations, co-manage and treat patients' medical needs Participate in an interdisciplinary team providing care and coordination of our patients ensuring the highest level of care No on call Weekend shift coverage 9am-9pm Job Requirements Active KY Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license(in good standing). Accepting new graduates! Current National Board Certification Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility Patience, problem-solving skills and communication ability are important. Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues as necessary to provide quality care Must be able to present a friendly, welcoming and professional appearance
