Job Description:
1.
Assessment and Diagnosis:
Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' mental health conditions. Diagnose qualifying health disorders based on clinical evaluations. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. 2.
Patient Education:
Educate patients and their families about medical marijuana treatment for specific health conditions and treatment options 3.
Collaboration and Consultation:
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Consult with interdisciplinary teams to develop holistic treatment plans. 4.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Document patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions. 5. Compliance with
Regulations:
Stay informed about state and federal regulations related to psychiatric care. Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Kentucky Certified to recommend cannabis or willing to get certified to recommend cannabis Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
