A dual-diagnosis behavioral health treatment center in Massachusetts is seeking a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. This clinician will play a key role in providing medical and psychiatric support to clients receiving treatment for both mental health and substance use disorders . The ideal candidate will have previous experience in behavioral health settings and be comfortable working with diverse clinical presentations in a collaborative treatment environment.
SCHEDULE
: PRN, as needed days and weekends Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive medical and psychiatric assessments for incoming clients. Provide ongoing medical management and clinical oversight throughout the client's episode of care. Collaborate closely with clinical, nursing, and case management teams to ensure integrated treatment for co-occurring disorders. Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings. Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with state and federal regulations. Monitor clients' progress, perform follow-up evaluations, and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR system. Provide crisis intervention and support when needed. Ensure clinical practices align with facility policies, state guidelines, and best-practice standards for dual-diagnosis treatment. Qualifications Active Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state of Massachusetts (required). Experience working in behavioral health , substance use treatment, psychiatry, or dual-diagnosis settings (required/preferred depending on level). DEA and prescriptive authority in MA (or eligibility). Strong understanding of mental health disorders, substance use disorders, withdrawal protocols, and psychopharmacology. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate, patient-centered clinical approach.
Pay:
$70.00 - $100.00 per hour
