Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant PM KIDZ is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our diverse and growing pediatric practice in Southern Maryland. This is a full-time position averaging 30-35 hours per week. Applicants with prior pediatric experience are preferred. Qualifications Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license National Provider Identifier (NPI) Active DEA registration Minimum of one year of advanced practice experience preferred Pediatric experience preferred Spanish-speaking or bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply Responsibilities Examine pediatric patients and assess their physical condition Diagnose illnesses and develop appropriate treatment and management plans Obtain, document, and maintain accurate medical histories, progress notes, physical examination findings, and diagnostic results Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within the provider's scope of practice Educate and counsel patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and health maintenance Complete timely and accurate documentation using the electronic health record Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and clinical support staff to provide coordinated pediatric care Schedule Full-time Approximately 30-35 hours per week Monday through Friday Weekend availability may be required Compensation and Benefits PM KIDZ offers competitive compensation and benefits.
