Community Care Urology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established, physician-led practice in Latham, NY. You'll work alongside five board-certified urologists and a dedicated team of advanced practice providers delivering high-quality, patient-centered care throughout New York's Capital Region. What you'll do As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Community Care Urology, you will: Evaluate and manage adult patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice and training Manage patient with conditions such as: Kidney stones Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) Hematuria Overactive bladder Urinary incontinence Recurrent urinary tract infections Erectile dysfunction Male infertility Interstitial cystitis CCP's compensation packages go far beyond just salary. License and active registration as a physician assistant or registered nurse/nurse practitioner in New York State.
Physician Assistant:
Bachelor's or equivalent degree in physician assistant studies and successful completion of physician assistant training program approved by the NYS Department of Education or accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, or a program that is determined by the Department to be the substantial equivalent of a licensure qualifying or accredited program. Current certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. At least one year of experience as a physician assistant in ambulatory health care. Current CPR certification.
Nurse Practitioner:
Successful completion of and graduation from a nurse practitioner education program acceptable to NYSED. Current certification as a nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Successful completion of pharmacology coursework acceptable to NYSED. Three years of professional nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred. At least one year of experience as a nurse practitioner in ambulatory health care. Current CPR certification.
