PMHNP Full Job Description Who We're Looking For:
We're seeking a skilled and passionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team—with a primary focus on children and adults offering a combination of telehealth and in-person care at our North Canton, Ohio office. This position is ideal for a clinician who values face-to-face connection, collaborative treatment planning, and being an integrated part of a local care team. You'll work alongside a supportive network of therapists, case managers, and nurses—delivering thoughtful, person-centered psychiatric care without the bureaucracy. While some telehealth appointments may be conducted based on client need or provider schedule, the primary need is for consistent, in-office availability. Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and med checks Provide safe, appropriate prescribing and medication counseling Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and administrative staff as needed Document services accurately and timely using our EHR Maintain appropriate licensure and compliance with federal/state guidelines Respond to client messages within 72 business hours
Clients We Serve:
Medicaid, commercial, and Medicare clients ages 6-65 Stark, Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana, Summit, and Cuyahoga Counties (and growing!) Community-based clients in their home, school, or office
Requirements:
Certified Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio Board Certified as Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP Required) At least 2 years of autonomous Psychiatric Outpatient Experience Telehealth experience and a high comfort level of working with technology Home internet must have a speed of at least 200 mbps download and 25 mbps upload for telehealth video calls Current and active DEA/CDS licensure Must cooperate with all credentialing efforts 16+ hours of availability per week
