Located in the beautiful lakeside community of Tega Cay, South Carolina, just minutes from Fort Mill and Charlotte, Integrity Behavioral Health provides thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care in a professional and supportive environment. The practice is led by Dr. Mahir Shah, a psychiatrist with more than 30 years of clinical experience. Four-Day Full-Time Workweek Our current full-time clinical schedule is structured as four days per week. This schedule allows providers to maintain a productive caseload while preserving greater flexibility and work-life balance. Part-time candidates will also be considered, with scheduling based on provider availability, patient continuity, and the needs of the practice. Physician-Led Clinical Support Providers have direct access to an experienced psychiatrist for consultation regarding: Complex clinical cases Diagnostic clarification Medication-management questions Risk assessment Treatment planning Professional development You will have the autonomy to manage your patients while knowing that experienced clinical guidance is available whenever needed. Established Practice and Ongoing Patient Demand Integrity Behavioral Health has an established patient base, a strong local presence, and ongoing demand for psychiatric services. The incoming provider may have the opportunity to assume care for some existing patients while also developing a productive caseload with support from our administrative and clinical teams. Meaningful, Relationship-Based Care We believe quality psychiatric care involves more than brief medication checks. Our providers develop therapeutic relationships with their patients and incorporate clinically appropriate brief psychotherapy into medication-management appointments. Candidates should be comfortable providing interventions such as: Supportive psychotherapy Psychoeducation Motivational interviewing Behavioral and coping strategies Solution-focused interventions Other evidence-based therapeutic techniques appropriate to the patient's needs. Competitive, Productivity-Based Compensation Estimated full-time annual earnings are $130,000-$175,000. Compensation is productivity-based and calculated as a percentage of the professional collections generated by the provider. The advertised annual range represents estimated full-time earnings and is not a guaranteed fixed salary. Actual earnings depend on the provider's schedule, patient volume, completed visits, services performed, documentation, insurance reimbursement, and collections. Part-time compensation is also based on actual professional collections. Practice-Paid Professional Expenses Integrity Behavioral Health pays for: Professional malpractice insurance Applicable South Carolina professional licensing fees Eligible professional license renewal expenses Specific eligibility and coverage will be outlined in the employment agreement. Strong Administrative Support Our experienced administrative team assists with: Patient scheduling Patient communication Insurance-related workflows Prior authorizations Credentialing support Prescription-related administrative needs General practice operations The practice uses Athenahealth for electronic health records, scheduling, documentation, billing, and clinical workflow management, allowing providers to devote more attention to patient care. Position Responsibilities The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will provide outpatient psychiatric services to children, adolescents, adults, or a combination of age groups, depending on the provider's education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations Diagnosing psychiatric and behavioral health conditions Providing ongoing psychiatric medication management Developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Monitoring medication effectiveness, side effects, safety concerns, and clinical progress Providing clinically appropriate brief psychotherapy Accurately documenting evaluation, medication-management, and psychotherapy services Ordering and reviewing appropriate laboratory testing Educating patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatment options, risks, and safety concerns Coordinating care with therapists, primary care providers, specialists, pharmacies, hospitals, and other members of the treatment team Completing timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation Participating in case consultation and clinical collaboration when appropriate Maintaining professional, ethical, regulatory, and prescribing standards Establishing therapeutic relationships built on empathy, trust, professionalism, and clear communication The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a provider who is clinically thoughtful, emotionally intelligent, dependable, and sincerely committed to delivering high-quality psychiatric care.
