Sunrise Pediatrics Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. As an NP , you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients. Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
• Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary.
• Provide patient education on preventive care, health maintenance, and disease management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Weekend hospital rounding will consist of seeing newborns only, with no procedures required, for a couple of weekends each month.
• Work at both our Cypress and Houston locations.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing (NP) .
• Current state licensure in Texas as an NP.
• Certification as an NP by a recognized national certifying body.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or a related field preferred.
• Will train new grads
• Excellent clinical skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team.

Benefits :

• Hourly Salary:

  $50-55 per hour, based on experience.
